Accessibility

The formal accessibility statement, which needs an external audit before it can be published.

What this section will contain

  • Declared conformance level and the standard it was assessed against
  • Known limitations and the timeline for resolving them
  • Feedback route for reporting an accessibility barrier
  • Date of the last assessment and who carried it out

Accessibility measures already in place

  • Every chart ships the same figures as a real data table, expandable by anyone.
  • Filters, tabs, sorting and pagination are links and form controls, so they work with the keyboard and before JavaScript loads.
  • Colour is never the only carrier of meaning: pillars and statuses are always labelled.
  • Focus is always visible, and a skip link leads straight to the main content.
  • Animation is suppressed for anyone who has asked their system to reduce motion.
  • Figures use tabular numerals so columns of data align and scan cleanly.

These are implementation choices, not an audited conformance claim. The statement above will follow once the portal has been formally assessed.
