About this call
The EEA Civil Society Fund and this Call focus on supporting democracy, the protection of human rights and the development of civil society organisations with the aim of strengthening their resilience and long-term sustainability. This call responds to current challenges such as polarization, declining trust in institutions, and social exclusion. There are also more limited opportunities and support available in regional areas, as well as the greater vulnerability of local and regional organizations due to underfunding and limited capacity. This call aims to remove barriers that prevent people from participating in public life. The call will support community-based initiatives that connect the non-profit sector with informal groups and active community leaders. Project Promoters will receive support to strengthen their role within their communities and to further develop their organizational capacity and operations. Small Regional Grants range from €2 000 to €5 000 and have a project duration of 6 months. In this funding round, they are available exclusively to organizations based in the Karlovy Vary and Pilsen Regions.
