About this call
The EEA Civil Society Fund in Greece aims to foster a vibrant and resilient civil society that protects and promotes democracy, the rule of law, and human rights. Within this framework, the purpose of this Open Call is to strengthen civic engagement at local and/or regional level by supporting participatory, inclusive, and community-driven initiatives. By enabling locally rooted civil society actors to design and implement actions that directly involve citizens in community life and decision-making processes, the call aims to activate individuals and groups in civic processes, foster trust, dialogue, and collaboration within and across communities, and promote participatory practices that enhance democratic life at local level. Who can apply
Eligible Project Promoters are small, non-profit Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) legally established in Greece by 31 December 2024. Applicants must be able to submit financial data covering one completed financial year (2025) and be small CSOs, defined under this Open Call as organisations with a total annual revenue (taxable and non-taxable) of less than €80,000 in 2025.
