Creating system for quantitative data collection to evaluate the situation of Roma in the Czech Society

<p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">The project aims to set up a quantitative system for data collection, which will allow for better understanding of the situation of Roma in the Czech Republic and will make quantitative comparisons of the situation of Roma with the majority population possible. </span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">The project will, inter alia, include the following main activities:</span></span></span></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">The development, implementation and coordination of an expert platform, </span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Methodological support and consultation in updating the Roma Integration Strategy </span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Research on existing practice of the collection of ethnically sensitive data</span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Quantitative survey focused on extent of support to collecting ethnically sensitive data among relevant agents,</span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Conducting two sample surveys and analysis and evaluation of the data gained</span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Analysis of foreign practice concerning the collection of analogous ethnically sensitive data,</span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Analysis of the legislative and institutional environment,</span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Creation of a method for describing the situation of the target group, </span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 11pt"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif">The development, management and coordination of a professional and expert platform for taking an opinion to the proposed method of the collection ethnically sensitive data. </span></span></li> </ul>
