About this project

The renovation of the northeastern wing of the mansion as well as the roof play a fundamental role in this project. If it fails, the applicant will not be able to establish the monument as a residential arts centre as well as fulfill any other indicator tied to the project. The reconstruction of the northeastern wing of the manor house will take approximately16 months, (March 2021 - June 2022) and will be carried out in the form of a thorough restoration of the original form of the building using the original techniques of building crafts and applying new complementary construction technologies so that the spirit of the manor is captured even with the aid of modern construction technology. The renovation of the manor house would re-establish it as a residential arts and culture centre, because it will hold exhibitions of local history by presenting local artefacts belonging to the city, the Franz Schubert museum as well as the Sacher and Romane Jile civic association.

The benefit from the partnership with NOPA (DPP) was mainly in the possibility of connecting the musical culture of two different countries through performances and in the possibility of establishing new relationships between artists.- The benefit from the partnership with NOPA (DPP) was mainly in the possibility of connecting the musical culture of two different countries through performances and in the possibility of establishing new relationships between artists. As there were 4 bilateral meetings of music or dance artists within the framework of artistic events, the project contributed to the acquisition of new ones and the strengthening and development of relations between music and dance artists from Slovakia and Norway. The cooperation will continue either within other projects or on the basis of the relationships that have been established between the artists or art institutions.
