<pre style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">The project will promote the employment of vulnerable unemployed residents of the City of Athens through awareness raising, training and certification, individualized psychosocial and employability support and job placement. The main objective of the project is increased employment among recently unemployed people: </span></span></span></span> </pre> <pre style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">The project will include, inter alia, the following main activities:</span></span></span></span> </pre> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">creating a labor market needs assessment on which the development of training curriculum will be based on;</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">engaging with local businesses for the establishment of a Network of local businesses with identified skills needs;</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">selecting vulnerable unemployed residents of the City of Athens that will benefit of the services. They will be selected using transparent procedures and with due respect to the principles of equal treatment and non-discrimination;</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">offering certified trainings and psychosocial and employability support to vulnerable unemployed people. The design of the training methodology, the development of the training curriculums, as well as the delivery of the training activities will be assigned to selected academic/educational/training entities that present concrete and solid experience;</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">developing of an information management system in order to facilitate the monitoring of the different</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">project activities and outputs and to support sustainability as the system will be maintained after the</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">project end in order to build on the results of the project;</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: "Courier New""><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif">facilitate the matching of trained and certified unemployed people with hiring businesses</span></span></span></span></li> </ul>
