<p>Despite of the fact that the climate change mitigation and adaptation aspects are reflected to some extent in city’s main planning documents, there is still lack of a coherent integrated strategic approach and measures to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change. The main objective of the project is setting and interpretetion of the main goals in climate and energy politics of the city of the third largest city in Estonia as well as drawing up an action plan. A thorough analysis of climate and energy issues will be carried out in Narva through the preparation of a climate and energy plan. The preparation of the plan will help increase the competence of the city of Narva in the field of climate and energy and increase awareness of the sectoral goals. This, in turn, will make it possible to improve the quality of life and living environment of the city's inhabitants. </p>
Bilateral cooperation results
The Partner participated as an adviser and shared their experience from Norway. There are no activities planned, but if necessary, the Partner is willing to participate in future collaboration.
