Bilateral cooperation results
Project Partner LISD, private company from LIECHTENSTEIN, has expertise in developing advanced urban design solutions for societal challenges affecting cities and urban regions, including issues related to climate change mitigation and adaptation and increasing the autonomy of cities and their carbon footprint, by promoting renewable energies, nature-based solutions, developing food resilience and improving water resource management solutions. Therefore LISD was involved in the activities carried out within the project for: • Overall analysis of the health status of the population and housing, including socio-economic vulnerability (morbidity, mortality, diseases transmitted through food and vectors, air and water quality, allergens, UV radiation, mental illnesses, etc., vulnerable groups). • Identification of natural and semi-natural spaces with a critical role of greenhouse storing with effect at local and regional level - green-blue infrastructure. • GIS analysis of natural and man-made hazards. The experience of LISD Partner, in collaboration with the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Geography, and with the City Hall of Câmpulung , brought added value in the development of the Strategy and Plan for Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Municipality of Câmpulung (ADAPT Câmpulung), contributing to a better understanding of the impact of variability and climate change, analyzing the specific adaptation needs in all studied sectors (agriculture, forestry, water resources, biodiversity, energy, industry, energy, transport, tourism and recreational activities, public health, infrastructure and urban planning, insurance, education, information and awareness).
