Manufacturing of a high added-value new product for SIA "DLLA" with reduced environmental impact

About this project

<p>Project goal: The aim of the project is to develop and launch a new product - a building material for the production of wooden frame houses, which will be manufactured with a new, modern and energy-efficient timber processing line. At the moment a Company does not have such an opportunity because the cost of operating existing machines is too high to produce this product, as well as it was not technologically possible to ensure a high-quality and compliant production process. The new product will have a high added value and thus increase the company's productivity. Main activities: Within the framework of the project, new manufacturing equipment will be purchased, information measures will be carried out, collaboration with a Norwegian partner will take place, as well as activities related to the introduction of the new product in production-related activities will be carried out.</p>

Bilateral cooperation results

A project partner, Saga wood, was involved in the project. Based on the experience of this company and the Norwegian timber industry, support was provided and better practices were passed on to innovate in the company. The costs are shown in the project as unrecoverable.
