About this project

The main goal of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the central heating system.
Detailed goals include:
-the additional ability to generate heat and electricity in high-efficiency cogeneration,
-reduction of CO2 emissions,
- primary energy savings,
- elimination of the local heat source.
The project involves replacing a coal-fired boiler with a gas cogeneration installation with accompanying
infrastructure, including an energy storage, installation of cold production from heat as well as construction of
new sections of the heating network and heat network modernization to avoid heat looses.
The heat production from the newly built installation is 189 319,10 GJ/year (including useful heat 187 464,38
GJ = 52 073,44 MWh) and electricity production is 32 500,14 MWh/year.
What does the project plan to achieve? (max 200 characters)
•reduction of CO2 emissions 32 443,07 t/year
•primary energy savings 20 354,90 MWh/year
•meeting the definition of an effective heat system
•elimination of local coal heat source.
Target group: inhabitans of Siedlce, participants in the information campaign, users of heat network.
Indirectly the whole country due to the improvement of air quality.
