Innovation of plastic waste recycling system

About this project

<p>The project will contribute with innovation of a plastic waste recycling system. The subject of the project is the application of innovative technology in order to streamline the recycling of PET bottles.<br> The need arises from the current insufficient capacity of the company's technological equipment, which cannot identify non-recyclable bottles and preparation of the environment and equipment of the Slovak Republic in accordance with EU law, which mandates that each produced PET bottle contains 25% recycled (crushed, washed and heat treated) so-called rPET regranulate.</p> <p>At the same time, the implementation of the project will indirectly create jobs (also with the involvement of the population from marginalized Roma communities) and also a positive impact on the environment in the Slovak Republic by making it possible to recycle more PET bottles and also difficult to recycle bottles.<br> The project focuses on the target group - the general public, and secondarily on the marginalized Roma community and the support of its employment.</p> <p>The applicant seeks to employ and educate members of the Roma community from a nearby Roma settlement at the applicant's company and integrate them among its employees and ensure equal opportunities for them.<br> <br> &nbsp;</p>
