About this project

As a full member of the EU, Croatia has an obligation and duty, as a country that is aware of its role in creating opportunities for sustainable development of the economy and the community as a whole, to contribute to energy and environmental goals based on reducing carbon emissions.

Similar to the EU, Croatia, through its own energy strategy, has set itself the goal of increasing the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, especially in final energy consumption, including increasing security of supply; and providing opportunities for "green jobs" and technology / production development, which contributes to the use of renewable energy sources.

The project "Photovoltaic power plant for own consumption SE ENERGO TEHNA" is one of the key steps of the company ENERGO-TEHNA d.o.o. in the implementation of the company's development strategy in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. The project will increase the use of renewable energy sources, which will be reflected in the annual production of 842.55 MW of electricity, ie higher efficiency of energy use in the production processes of the company, enabling the production of the same amount of products using a smaller amount (min 85%) of energy delivered from the distribution network. At the same time, CO2 emissions will be reduced by 197.16 tons per year.

The implementation of this project will directly contribute to increasing the use of low-carbon technologies in energy production, using renewable solar energy and increasing security of energy supply in the Republic of Croatia.
