About this project

The three municipalities will introduce schemes for separate waste collection and recycling of biodegradable household waste, batteries, textile and plastic. Belogradchik Municipality will prepare a Zero Waste Plan and will introduce a new method for calculating the household garbage fees as required by the current legislation. This will serve as a foundation for development of Zero Waste Plans in the municipalities of Ruzhentsi and Chuprene. The experience of the Norwegian partner - Valuemakers AS, will help the Bulgarian local authorities with the essential analyses and surveys that will inform the fulfilment of the above project activities.
