About this project
<p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif"><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: Times">The project promoter intends to install a new equipment for glass packaging waste recycling line and implement new glass recycling technological solutions, which will significantly increase company’s productivity. Implementation of the project will help to achieve better glass recycling results, increase quantity and improve the quality of the recycled glass. With currently available equipment, the company produces products with impurities, which are acceptable on Ukraine and Belarus markets, but not in other EU countries.</span> <span style="font-family: Times"><span style="color: #202124">A new</span></span><span style="font-family: Times"> glass recycling line will allow the company to increase production exports to the EU countries that demand for better quality products. After project completion: 1) the company will have most modern glass recycling equipment in the Baltic countries, which shall increase Applicant’s competitiveness, 2)</span><span style="font-family: Times"> fuel used in the production process will be reduced by 59%, 3) energy consumption will be reduced by 58%.</span></span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family: Times">Partner’s experience in implementation of environmentally friendly projects will be helpful for improvement of project promoter's production processes, resulting in reduced CO2 emissions and energy resources. </span></span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif"><span style="font-family: Times">Partner will consult on technical aspects necessary for successful implementation of the project.</span></span></span></p>
Bilateral cooperation results
With donor project partner the project promoter shared the examples of good practice, consulted on technologies that help to reduce energy consumption and solve waste disposal problems. At the end of the project, the cooperation between companies will not be interrupted.
