About this project

The project aims to establish synergy between the formal and non-formal education, by developing three programmes for both teachers and students in climate change, robotics and enterpreneurship. The programmes will be developed by project partners Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Croatian Robotics Association, which will also provide trainings for teachers from 7 primary scools in Šibenik area, including a shool from island area. Teachers will then implement the developed programmes in their respective schools, for their students. Trainings will be also provided and adapted for special needs class in Primary school Juraj Dalimatinac, contributing to their inclusion in the school system. The ultimate goal will be the development of "RaSTEM " centre, which will be located at 8 locations: in the Incubator of the City of Šibenik (TROKUT ltd.) and 7 primary schools. All schools will be equipped for implementing the three programmes with robot sets and other equipment. On school will host a STEM garden, and a STEM park, for all schools in the area to use. TROKUT ltd. will host the central location - a fully equipped STEM space where developed programmes and new activities will be organised and hosted for the gravitating schools in the area, long after the project implementation - providing support for STEM teaching for talented students in the wider Šibenik area.
